Gray Eminence is about providing small businesses with the tools to deal with IT service providers on the same terms as their competitors.
There is a dichotomy in IT project delivery for small businesses. The project manager is provided by the same people who are to deliver the project yet he is charged with protecting the interests of the customer within that project. A straightforward
conflict of interest that can likely be followed back to the beginning of the engagement from the customer. Most IT projects for small businesses are driven out of necessity because of failure or by the vendors recommendation. This happens because most small businesses don’t have the resources to employ full time it staff who can look after their needs. Nor should they need to.
Unfortunately this also means that when the crunch comes they also only have the vendor to rely on for the explanations of whatever catastrophe has befallen them and a quote to put things right.
Our objective is to provide affordable strategic and practical help to small businesses from assessing needs through preparing requirement documentation, procurement and delivery management or assessment. Helping small businesses to plan further and prepare better for what their business needs to survive, compete and thrive in the modern age.
